A lover of fantasy and comics as a child, Michael grew up wanting to learn about far away places, and as a result earned two degrees in international relations and a spot in the Syracuse University political science doctoral program. His curiosities include social justice, constructivist political theory, cosmopolitanism and international cooperation.
